Wanda Jean (Taylor) Lindquist

Wanda Jean, age 75, of Springfield Twp. passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021. She was born on April 28, 1945 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Howard L. and Nancy F. Taylor. On May 3, 1964 she married the love of her life, Mitchell Lindquist, while he was on leave from the Air Force; he survives her.

Wanda was the consummate pastor’s wife; she had the voice of an angel; was the Music Director for all the churches where Mitchell served as pastor; taught piano and organ; led vacation bible school; and had a great right hook!

Besides her husband Mitchell, she is survived by her loving children, Ruth Jones, David Lindquist, and Peter (Mollie) Lindquist; grandchildren, Amanda Jones, Isaac and Zoe Lindquist, and Pascal and Pollie Lindquist; sister-in-law, Carolyn Peck; and brother-in-law, Jerry Lindquist; other family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Ken Dillard officiating at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave. Mt. Healthy 45231.
