Virginia L. Turner Witter

Virginia L Turner Witter nee Jones  Went to be with her Lord on December 17, 2019. Born January 24, 1929 in Floyd County, Kentucky. Daughter of George and Dora Jones, Ginny was preceded in death by her siblings Marie, Rebecca, Vivian, Evelyn, Ida, Robert, and Barbra.  She is survived by her Sister Sue. Ginny was married for 50yrs to Charles O Turner until his death in 1997.  She is survived by her children Brenda Lammert (Michael), Barbra Emison (Ileana), Charles Turner (Rebecca), and John Turner (Shelly).  She was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren that will all miss their Great Granny. Ginny worked at Avon manufacturing plant in Springdale, OH, and became a member of their Founders Club upon her retirement. Ginny is survived by her husband Alton Witter of Zepherhills, Florida.  Al and Ginny have many friends and were very active in Faith Baptist Church in Florida.  She worked in the nursery and quilted lap quilts for the elderly.  They enjoyed traveling and have gone on many wonderful cruises. Visitation will be held 10am until noon, at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45231, on Saturday, January 4th.  Funeral service will follow, with Rev. Gary Jackson of Friendship Baptist Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
