Shirley, age 92, of Port Orange, FL and formerly of Hamilton passed away on February 5, 2021. She was born on June 22, 1928 in Lily, KY to the late Richard and Mary (nee Wilder) Parrigan. In 1956 she married Eldon Grathwohl; he preceded her in death on March 14, 2008. Shirley is a lifetime member of the Disciples Christian Church of Hamilton; the VFW Post 1069 Auxiliary; and she had a lifelong love of sewing and crafts.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Edward (Carol) Grathwohl, Andrew Grathwohl, and Ernest Grathwohl; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; siblings, Johnny Parrigan, Mal Landis, and Penny Thomas; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldon; her son, David; and 7 siblings.
Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton 45015.
