Sharon Medlock

Sharon was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Margarite (nee Insprucker) and Walter Ashbrook on April 4, 1948. She's the beloved wife of the late Robert Medlock; cherished sister of Patricia (Barry) Grogan, Walter Ashbrook and Alan (Joan) Ashbrook; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly. 

She received a Bachelors degree from Xavier University, a Masters degree from Miami University and her PHD from the University of Kentucky.  She worked in the Lakota school district where she taught 3rd grade, was a counselor and later ran the Library System.  Through the years she inspired many students (as well as nieces and nephews), with a love for reading, and an appreciation of good books.

Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Church in Oxford at 12:30 pm on Monday, January 13, 2025 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 pm. Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
