Shane "Cowboy" Voorhees

Shane A. "Cowboy" Voorhees,  66, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away April 8, 2025, at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He was born on November 11, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert S. Voorhees and Jonne Lee (nee Clinger) Walker. Shane married Bernice Jackson on December 5th 1991, and she survives. Shane is also survived by his brothers, Darren (Julie) Voorhees of St. Augustine, FL, Preston Voorhees of Erlanger, KY,  Wendell (Carol) Walker of Amelia, OH, Mama Connie Rudd of Erlanger, KY and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great-nephews and many extended relatives and friends. 

Shane never met a stranger, he was the friend of many. He had a special place in his heart for his country and Veterans that served it. Shane's jokes and funny demeanor will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. He loved westerns and woodworking but mostly loved spending time with his family and friends. 

Shane was preceded in death by his parents. 

The family will receive friends at Tree of Life Church, 7630 View Place Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45224, on Monday, April 14th, 2025 from 5 -  8:00 PM. Second visitation held on Tuesday, April 14th, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM also at Tree of Life Church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Tree of Life Church, 7630 View Place Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45224. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
