Phillip Garry Emerson, “Phil,” beloved son of Ronald G. and Cheryl Emerson was born January 12, 1971 in Colerain Township and passed suddenly August 6, 2023. Father of Amanda, grandfather of Jack and Ruby. Brother of Lisa “sis” (Tim) and Brian “lil bro” (Angel). Uncle of Stephanie (Dusty), Preston, Maddi Mae, Shawn (Shy), McKenzie, Joey, Louis, Rylie, T.J. (Karie), Leah, Haley, Jessica (Brent), Jillian, Max, Josie, Alyssa, and Scarlet.
Phil was a sought after welder who could create the unimaginable. He loved his family who fiercely loved him back. Phil was a great cook. His daughter Amanda loved his broccoli soufflé and scallop potatoes (family traditions). He took charge at the grill with mouthwatering outcomes. Phil stayed true to things that were close to his heart. He cherished the American flag, loved eagles, liked silver/metal jewelry, always rooted for his hometown Bengals and Reds, valued muscle cars and the American pick up truck. Phil was a free spirit, not to be tangled up, as this bird you cannot change. Fly high now, “Free Bird,” as you are now set free.
The Celebration of Phil’s life is to be held on August 27th from 2:00 - 3:00 pm with some of his favorite foods. Sharing special moments and accomplishments of Phil’s life by his “sis” at 3:15 pm. To be held at “Legacy Tavern,” 9017 Colerain Avenue, Colerain Township. Please be courteous and follow any parking attendant directions you may receive. Drop offs and handicap parking in front lot.
