Paul Jay Stringfellow passed away unexpectedly January 11, 2025, at his home in College
Corner, Ohio.
Paul Jay was born in Mansfield, Ohio to Emily and Glenn Stringfellow. He was a Miami University retiree for 30 years and currently worked part-time as a parts delivery driver for CARQUEST in Oxford, Ohio. Paul Jay was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Paul Jay enjoyed watching his grandson’s play soccer and football on the weekends, as well as spending time at home watching Nascar, NFL, and NCAA football and basketball. In his younger years, Paul Jay was a member of the AFR and loved riding his motorcycle for charity. Until recently he was still an avid rider. Paul Jay loved listening to Rock N Roll and was a true friend to all those who knew him. Paul Jay never met a stranger and had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. Paul Jay will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife-Bobbie Jo Stringfellow, Brother-Howard (Paulette) Stringfellow, Sister-Lisa (Dan Machar) Springston, Brother-Dick (Linda) Springston, Brother-Tom Springston, Sister-Debra (Roy) Shade, Son-Jimmy (Suzie) Farmer, Son-Brenton Stringfellow, Son-Eric Stringfellow, Son-Howie (Jessica) Bowlds, Son-Adam Bowlds, 2 nephews, 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Paul Jay was preceded in death by his Mother-Emily (Voyik) Springston, Father-Glenn Stringfellow, Stepfather-Ike Springston, Brother-Larry Springston, Sister-Shawn Stringfellow, Son-Chris Bowlds.
Paul Jay's Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 12 pm until 5 pm at the Fairfield Event Center in West College Corner, Indiana (48 Brookville St.)
