Patricia Lee (Berkemeier) Mason

Patricia Lee Mason, 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away August 22, 2025. She was born on September 19, 1945 in Dayton, Kentucky to Henry and Evelyn (Nee Silz) Berkemeier. Pat married Ronald Mason on October 19, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pat is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ronald Mason, children Dave (Lisa) Mason, Tracey (Edward) Layer, grandchildren, Brittney Mason, Amanda (Dizzy) Peyton, Reid Layer, great-grandchildren, Santanna, Abrielle, Antonio, Kenari, Dirk, Wesley, and Trudy, and sister Darlene (Lee) Hooker.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Betty (Dick) Couch, Ruth (Bill) Dirr, Elsie (Jim) Kirchgessner, Louis Berkemeier, Carol (Bill) O'Neal, Robert (Eurless) Berkemeier, granddaughter Lauren Dietz.

Pat leaves behind a large loving family and friends who became family to us all. She loved coaching softball and cheering on her kids and grandkids in all sports. She enjoyed diamond art, working puzzles and playing bingo which she often won at!  She raised an extended family and her home became "HOME" to many where she cooked, cared for all and hosted fun gatherings playing cards and celebrating life. She loved ALL of her family and close friends deeply and protected and took care of them. She enjoyed 20 years with her wonderful Lake Wales friends turned family. She devoted her life to taking care of others, including her husband for 60 years, and in turn he did the exact same for his "buddy".

Graveside services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery on September 3, 2025 at 10:30 AM. Deacon Larry Day will be officiating.
