Nancy Kathleen Welch (née Buckley)

Cincinnati - Nancy Kathleen Welch (née Buckley), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on June 5, 1946, a native of Sayreville, New Jersey, Nancy was raised in a close-knit family that instilled in her the values of love, loyalty, and compassion. On February 9, 1973, she married her devoted husband, Patrick Welch, and together they began a life filled with joy, partnership, and adventure. In 1976, on their third wedding anniversary, Nancy and Patrick relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio-a place they would proudly call home and where they raised their two sons. Nancy's greatest happiness came from being surrounded by her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, and nothing brought her more joy than watching them grow, learn, and laugh. Nancy also had a love for travel, often visiting her brother at his homes in New Jersey and Florida. Those trips, filled with laughter, stories, and shared memories, were among her favorite experiences. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Patrick Welch; her sons Michael Welch (Emily) and Ryan Welch (Jennifer); her brother Michael Buckley (Patty); and her adored grandchildren, Landon, Isabelle, and Brooklyn Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Rosina Buckley. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt.
