Monica was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 1, 1957 and passed away peacefully at her home in Mason on November 1, 2024. She is the beloved wife of Dan Jacobs; devoted mother of Ray Jacobs and Tracy Carl; cherished grandmother of John Carl; treasured daughter of Norine Smith; and dear sister of Cheryl (Mike) Boone, Ronald Smith and Lora Banks. Sister in law of Karen, Patsy (Duane), Peggy, Pam (Mike), and Lisa. Aunt of Becky, Kelley, Emily, Kyle, Kevin, Carl, Holly, Michael, Bryan, Rachel, Craig, Eric, Jeremy, Jessica, Amanda, Ashley, and Sarah. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald E. Smith.
Monica was one of the most thoughtful, caring and selfless individuals you would ever meet. She was incredibly loving and devoted to her family and friends. She was also a gifted artist, designer and painter. She will be deeply missed.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Paul R. Young Funeral Home (Mt. Healthy) from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM with memorial service at 1:00 PM. Inurnment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery (11000 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45249).
