Mary Ann "Mickie" Hicks (nee Bruening)

Mary Ann "Mickie" Hicks (nee Bruening), 88, was born on December 20, 1936 to parents, Hubert and Katherine Bruening in Hamilton, OH. Mary Ann passed away on April 4, 2025 in Fairfield, OH. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Richard Hicks for 65 years. Devoted mother of Katherine Lynn Montgomery and Sherrie (the late Dale) Krauser. Cherished grandmother of Richard Charles Montgomery (Marissa Stegel) and Mindy Ann Louise (Chad) Beale. Loving great-grandmother of Denin Montgomery, Myles Beale, Rylan Beale, Milana Beale, and Barron Beale. Dear great-great-grandmother of Aaron William Beale. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, the late John (the late Anna) Bruening & the late Henry (the late Pauline) Bruening. Member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mary Ann enjoyed competitive figure skating, watching Dancing with the Stars and game shows, butterflies, and spending time with her family. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th from 9:30 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 AM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231.
