Martin A. "Marty" Deuter was born on February 8, 1947 to parents, August & Angela Deuter. Martin passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 78. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Barb Deuter (nee Bartholomew); his children Jen Simonton & Jeff Deuter; grandchildren Alex, Jeffrey, Morgan, Mady, & Ryleigh; and daughter-in-law Lori Williams Downs. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister Marilyn Deuter. He was a proud Vietnam War Army Veteran. Belonging to the community of Corpus Christi Church. He worked diligently for the US Post Office for 40+ years as a mail handler. He was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, working security for both teams since his retirement. He was one of the most amicable and sociable people you’d ever meet, always able to strike up a conversation wherever he’d go. He never was one for relaxation and you always found him out and about around the yard making sure his house looked perfect. His visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th from 5 to 8 PM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave.,Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 13th at 10:30 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2014 Springdale Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
