Mark Thieken
Mark Thieken, age 83, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, October 24th, 2020. Mark was born on August 23rd, 1937 in Wheelersburg, OH to Louis Thieken and Lucy Born Thieken. He was a United States Army Veteran. After working for 30 years at General Motors as a Project Engineer, Mark retired in 1999. On November 26, 1960, Mark married his one true love, Judith Moore Thieken, who preceded him in death in April 1994.
Mark is survived by his two sons, Aaron (Tracy) Thieken of Swansea, IL, and Paul (Karen) Thieken of Dacula, GA; brother Raymond (Nita) Thieken; 5 Grand-children: Tristan Thieken, Katie Thieken, Colleen Thieken, Lauren Dahm, and Garrett Dahm, and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his spouse Judith, Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lucy Thieken; brother Charles Thieken; sisters, Ruth Reipenhoff and Rosemary Montavan; and brothers in law, John Reipenhoff, Bob Montavan, Phil Moore, Don Hamant, and Tom Evans; mother-in-law Helen Moore and Father-in-law Hugh Moore.
Mark enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, traveling, woodworking, reading, swimming, and spending time with his family and friends with a nice cold Jack and coke. All that knew him, respected and loved him and he will be greatly missed.

A graveside service honoring the life of Mark will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
