Marilyn R. Mackin

Marilyn R. Mackin was born on July 25, 1936 to parents Raymond & Elsie Nordman in Covington, KY. Marilyn passed away on May 4, 2026 in Cincinnati, OH at the age of 89. She is survived by her children Paul D. Mackin, Pamela J. (Bob) Petit, Joseph R. (the late Patricia) Mackin, & Jacqueline A. (Robert) Balash; her grandchildren Bob, Doug, Shelly, Troy, Cassie, Anna, Ryan, & Abby; her sister Donna (Kurt) Cosmick; eleven great-grandchildren; and  many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, the late Milton B. Mackin and her sister the late Jo Ann (Bob) Krey.  69 year member of the Church of the Assumption. Marilyn loved following the Cincinnati Reds & the Cincinnati Bengals, bowling, going to the casinos, and listening to the Glenn Miller Band. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8th from 9:45 AM until 11 AM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave. Mt. Healthy, OH 45231.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 8th at 11 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 7711 Joseph St.,Cincinnati, OH 451231. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow services at the Providence Room at Church of the Assumption All are welcome Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
