Margaret "Peggy" (Caudill) Thobe

Margaret (Peggy) Thobe, 91, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2020. She was born on September 8, 1928, in Morning Sun, Ohio to Robert and Kathryn Caudill.

She had a full, wonderful life working as a registered nurse and later in life spending her winters in Savannah, Georgia. She had a love and passion for animals and enjoyed knitting, reading, dancing and an occasional sailboat ride. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oxford, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Thobe, and eight siblings. She is survived by her children Collette Stinson of West College Corner, Indiana; Kathy Willis (John) of Savannah, Georgia; Theresa Thobe of West College Corner, Indiana; three grandchildren; Derek Stinson (Cyndi), Kyle Stinson (Kim), and Andrew Hannebaum (Alli) and four greatgrandchildren; George Stinson, Lucas Stinson, Jacob Stinson and Liam Hannebaum.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 111 East High Street, Oxford, OH 45056 on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 11:00 am followed by a graveside service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
