Marcia P. (DeLong) Rhone

Rhone, Marcia (DeLong), originally from Natick, Massachusetts, died peacefully in her sleep on November 24, 2021.

Marcia is preceded in death by her husband Howard Rhone, first husband William Myrick, parents Vorie and Harriet (Galberg) deLong and grandson Brian (Megan) Romero. Marcia is survived by her loving children Sandra Myrick, Deb Myrick, Tom (Mary McGhee) Myrick and John (Debbie Romero) Myrick; her wonderful grandchildren Shanna (Andrew) Stryker, Trevor Myrick, Kyle (Hannah Luckie) Duffy, Craig Duffy and Steve Myrick; her dear great-grandchildren Alexandria Romero, Brian Romero, Everett Duffy and Mary Banks Duffy as well as her loving sister Janet (Carl) Rinehart. Marcia also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great friends and her favorite pets Baby Cat and Emmie.

Marcia spent her early years attending the First Congregational Church of Natick and raised her children in the Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church, also of Natick, where she was very involved. She attended Natick High School and worked part time at Jordan Marsh while raising her four children.

Marcia loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and playing (and spoiling) Baby Cat and Emmie, spending time on Cape Cod, Lake Sunapee and Pompano Beach, Florida. Marcia especially loved to sing, starting at a young age with the children’s church choir, as an adult with friends at piano bars in Boston and loved singing on her sister’s deck in Ohio. Marcia also loved to dance and spending time with her friends from Massachusetts and Florida. She will be missed by many. Her Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
