Mabel Miller Obituary

Mabel Hobbs Miller, age 78, born March 23, 1942 in Lee County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry B. Hobbs and Elizabeth Barker Hobbs. Mabel departed this life from Atrium Middletown Hospital on December 26, 2020. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio. She belonged to DAR. She was an avid reader. For years, she did research on genealogy.

She is survived by her four sisters, Shannon Kincaid, Geneva Jo Combs, Eileen Cable, and Margaret Drake. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Miller of Cincinnati, OH, a sister, Reno Shoemaker of Beattyville, KY and four brothers, Marvin D. of Lee County, KY, Finley E. Hobbs of Indianapolis, IN, John Hobbs of Commerce Township, MI and Lyle James of Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends, a special friend, Pastor Larry Starkey and family from Florida.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be private at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
