Lorene Depew, age 98 of Camden, OH went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Woodland Country Manor in Somerville, OH. She was born April 23, 1926 in Madison, KY, the daughter of Katherine (nee Walton) and William Henry Adams. She was a longtime member of Somerville Pentecostal Church and retired from Miami University.
She is survived by her son Stephen (Shirley) Lamb of Point Blank, Texas; grandchildren, Chastity, Joshua, Shannon, Denise, Dennis, Denver, Michael, and Wendell; great grandchildren, Abby, Dillion, James and Cassidy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents William and Katherine Adams, first husband Floyd Lamb, second husband Thomas Depew, Jr., step-daughter, Geraldine Lawrence of Cincinnati; brothers Robert Adams, John Adams, Ray Adams, William Adams, Charles Adams and Harold Adams; sisters Minnie Adams, Hazel Hall, Lottie Marshall, Emma Johnson, MaryAnn Plaugher, Margret Powell, Virginia “Dorothy” Wehr and Louise Knobloch; and her grandson Johnny Ray Lamb.
A visitation for Lorene will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Oxford from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 12 PM. Burial to immediately follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden.
