Laverne (Isaacs) Eastham

Laverne was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Cleova (nee McKinney) and Lucas Isaacs on August 14, 1957. She married the love of her life on February 5, 1988 on the anniversary of her parents wedding, and has since spent the next 37 years as the beloved wife of Mikie Eastham; devoted mother of Marcie (John) Gaebel and Jamie Turner; cherished grandmother of Lola Rile, Ford Gaebel, Sam Gaebel, Jillian Turner, James Turner and Cooper Hartman; loving sister of the late Don Isaacs, Lomonda (Jerry) Conklin and the late Dave (Harla) Isaacs; and dear aunt of the late Sami Isaacs, Nathan (Destiny) Isaacs, Angie Conklin, Vicki (Bob) Nipper, Denny Conklin, Harley (Brittany) Isaacs, Melinda Isaacs and many great nieces and nephews. Laverne spent her time raising her family and spending time with friends. She was known for her kind heart, beautiful smile, and never-ending generosity. She enjoyed camping and trips to Kentucky to visit with extended family. Her family will remember her every time they see a gladiolus or peony, as these were her favorite flowers. She will be deeply missed by many. 

A graveside service for Laverne will be held at Darrtown Cemetery on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 11 AM.
