John Ruehl Obituary

John Charles Ruehl, age 83, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Judith M. Ruehl.

He is survived by his children John R. (Robin) Ruehl, Jennifer (Vernon) Etler, and Jodie (Robert) Reeves. Six grandchildren; Amanda, Andrea, John R., Alexander, Rachelle, and Jordan and eight great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews

He was life long member of St. Paul church on Old Blue Rock Rd. He was also a proud life long Benefactor member of the NRA. An avid bird hunter, fisherman, and woodworker and he loved the outdoors.

Donations can be made to the memorial fund at St. Paul church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 

 

A visitation will be held December 13, 2024 from 5 - 8pm at Paul R. Young Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy. A second visitation on December 14, 2024 from 9 - 10am at St. Paul United Church of Christ (5312 Old Blue Rock Road Cincinnati, OH 45247). A funeral service will immediately follow. Burial at Arlington Memorial gardens.
