JoeAnn (Ringley, Porter) Stamper, age 78, passed away on December 26, 2020. She was born in Hamilton, OH to Clarence and Alice (Gurr) Ringley on November 4, 1942 and graduated from Talawanda High School. She was married to David Porter until his death in 1992 and remarried to Doug Stamper until his death in 2016. She lived the majority of her life in the College Corner area and worked as a sales director at Hueston Woods Lodge for many years.
She is survived by her daughters Regina (Ron) Cason, Linda (Randy) Porter, and Dawn Porter; grand children Molly, Matt, and Payton; great grandchildren Dylan and Cason; sister Debbie Browning; and nieces and friends, including special friend Ivan Bourne. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Regina Williams and husbands David Porter and Doug Stamper. Joe Ann was deeply loved by all of her children, grandchildren, and everyone who knew her. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her girls; she also loved to travel, read, and vacation at any beach. She was a truly magical person and the world will be worse for her not being in it.
Services will be private with a Celebration of Life to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to College Corner Community Club, P.O. Box 421 West College Corner, IN 47003.
