Jim C. Dewald. Beloved husband of Mary Fitzjarrell Dewald for 57 years. Devoted father of Jimmy (Shannon) Dewald, Cindy (Stan) Walton, and Michele (Michael) Henn. Loving brother of Dick (Glenda) Dewald. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. Jim passed away on December 28, 2025 at the age of 80 years. Vietnam Era Army Veteran. 27 year career as a Cincinnati Firefighter. Jim loved playing softball, restoring & driving classic cars, golfing, and Civil War reenacting. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5th from 5 to 8 PM at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 6th at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Cincinnati Fire Museum, 315 West Court Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202 and to The Salvation Army Center Hill Corps, 6381 Center Hill Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45224.
