Janice Marie (Gentry) Rugg

Janice M. – Born December 19, 1939. Entered into Heaven on October 1, 2021, at the age of 81. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 59 years, Marvin E. Rugg who passed away on February 2, 2016.

Janice was the consummate wife, mother, and grandma. Nothing was more important to her than family.

Beloved mother of Debbie (Dale) Evans, Lisa Rugg, John (Neeta) Rugg and the late Angela “Angel” Rugg. Cherished grandma of Dane and Zachary (Audrey) Evans, and Jay, Natasha, and Jenna Rugg; devoted great grandma to Natalie, Alexandra, Dane Jr., and Kyler; dear sister of Pat (Larry) Hatfield, Linda Holbrook, Earnest (Elizabeth) Gentry Jr., and Walker (Carol) Gentry; numerous other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Mildred Gentry; siblings, William (Connie) Gentry and Wanda Lee; and brother-in-law, Marvin Holbrook.

Visitation will be Monday, October 4, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Blessing at 1:30 p.m. at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave. Mt. Healthy, 45231.

Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens Mt. Healthy.
