James Muchmore Obituary

James "Jim" Muchmore was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 10, 1965 to Martha (nee O'Connor) and Clarence Muchmore. He is the beloved soul mate of Karen Litteral; cherished brother of Dan (Kim) Muchmore, Ron Muchmore, the late Pam Muchmore and Shelly Heller; loving uncle of Dana (Anne) Muchmore, Melissa (Marshall Galbraith) Muchmore,  Nick (Brittany) Clore, Jennifer (Zack) Cochran, Ryan Friedhoff, Laben Heller, Kieran Heller and many great nieces and nephews. He is survived by many other dear relatives and friends. Jim is known for having an incredible heart and generous personality. He always went above and beyond to help others. Jim spent many hours volunteering, fundraising, hosting auctions as well as a weekly trivia (and well known for these, earning him the nickname Trivia Jim), scavenger hunts, and always giving back to family, friends, and community. He had a special heart for children and would dress up as Santa at Christmastime (with Karen by his side as Mrs. Claus) and pass out toys to children at the Paul R. Young Nativity at the funeral home in Mt. Healthy. He has touched the lives of so many and will be deeply, deeply missed.

A visitation for Jim will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, 5 - 8 pm at Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Mt. Healthy. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, 11 am at St. Margaret Mary Church in North College Hill with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
