Jim Lansaw was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished in-law, and uncle and friend to many. He passed away surrounded by the love of a family and community who will forever feel his absence and carry his memory forward.
Jim loved his wife dearly, and their bond was the heart of his life. His family meant everything to him, and he showed that love every day—whether cheering on his grandchildren, offering a helping hand to anyone in need, or simply showing up with a smile and a song.
Known as the life of the party, Jim had a gift for bringing people together. He never met a stranger, and was always laughing, singing, or dancing. Music was one of his greatest joys, and he proudly shared his voice as a member of the Downtown Old Timers, where his love for singing and fellowship shined brightly.
Jim’s joy for life was contagious—from supporting his kids and grandkids at every opportunity to sharing a laugh and taking shots with his buddies. He lived fully, generously, and loudly, leaving behind memories filled with music, laughter, and love.
Jim Lansaw will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy lives on in the family he adored, the friends he lifted up, and the countless lives made brighter by his kindness, humor, and song.
Per Jimmy’s wishes there will be no services, he wanted everyone to remember the love, laughter, singing and dancing they shared throughout his life. Keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
