Jacqueline Grace Perry, age 59, died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 in Cincinnati Ohio while holding the hand of her beloved husband David Perry.
Jacque is survived by her brothers Saul and Terry Riley and sister Amy Gervacio. She is also survived by her nephews Michael, Matthew, Dustin, Logan, Gregory, Landon, Cayleb, Matthew Jr, Nikolai, Noah, Ameleo, Braxton, Remington and Harvey. She is also survived by nieces Maria, Alyssa, Olivia, Rose, Everlina, Isabella and Lillian.
She was proceeded in death by brothers Kenneth and Clyde Rylie.
Jacque was born on June 16, 1964 in Detroit Michigan to parents Clyde and Ruby. She attended Indianapolis School for The Blind. In 1982 she moved to Cincinnati Ohio.
Jacque spent her entire life giving and caring for others. Although Jacque never had children of her own she was a bonus Mom to all of her nieces and nephews. Jacque was passionate about caring for others, especially children. Jacque took a position with Clovernook Center for The Blind as the Volunteer Coordinator through much of her adult life. When Jacque was not working she was volunteering herself and for many years put together a fundraising variety show to raise money and awareness for leukemia and donated bone marrow herself. She was an avid singer who often performed at Anderson Ferry Church of Christ as well as nightly private performances for her nieces and nephews. She also was an actress and member of the Renegade Garage Players which was a drama/play group that was part of The League of Cincinnati Theaters.
Jacque was later in life than many when she found the love of her life David Perry whom she married on May 9, 2009. In 2013 Jacque had a stroke which paralyzed her. David stayed by Jacque’s side for over a decade following her stroke visiting her almost everyday and they continued devoting themselves to one another for 11 more years until Jacque was called home to be with the Lord. Jacque’s love for her husband, her family, her friends and her faith in God were unsurpassed.
She was truly an angel and now she is home.
