George E. Taylor

George E. Taylor was born on November 19, 1938 to parents, William & Ruth Taylor in Portsmouth, OH. George passed away on June 17, 2026 at the age of 87 in Blue Ash, OH. He was the beloved husband of the late Dona Kay Taylor for over 65 years; devoted father of the late Kathy Taylor, Terri (Tim) Groeting, Cindy (Don) Bradfield, and Dawn (Chris) Taylor Hanlin; cherished grandfather of Timothy Groeting Jr., the late Andrew Groeting, Amber Groeting, Kirstin (Paul Barton) Bradfield, Taylor Bradfield, Lauren (Eric) Bradfield Little, Isaac Palmer, Asa Palmer, Ezria Palmer; great-grandfather of Ellie Groeting, Reese Reis, & Baby Little; dear brother of the late Betty Stanford & the late Johnny Taylor. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and dear friends. George was preceded in death by his wife, Dona, his daughter Kathy, his grandson Andrew, his parents William & Ruth, and his siblings Betty & Johnny. United States Marine Corps Veteran & Army Veteran. He was a member of the Vineyard Cincinnati Church (Springdale, OH) where he volunteered with the Healing Center organization. Avid runner who loved the outdoors. A visitation will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231 from 11 am until time of the funeral service at 1 pm on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Burial at Crown Hill Memorial Park will immediately follow the service.
