Obituary

Gary L. Frazier passed away peacefully on July 27, 2020, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and was 67 years old. Beloved husband to Julia (nee Wogaman) Frazier, loving father to Missy Frazier and Tracy (Darren) Retherford and grandfather to Tyler (Chelsea) Franklin, Nick Reeves, Josh Retherford, Brianna Reeves, Kaleigh Retherford, and two great grandchildren, Tanner and Riley. He is also survived by his sisters Brenda Lewis and Deborah Lee, and many other beloved family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Nina (nee Maloney) Frazier, a brother, Wendell Ray Frazier, and a grandson, Bobby Reeves.

Gary loved having a large garden and sharing it with others. He especially loved growing extra vegetables to share with family and friends. Many have enjoyed his tomatoes, pickles and jams and have learned how to dig potatoes in his garden. He loved to cook, especially making a big breakfast with biscuits and gravy for his family. He also enjoyed being outdoors, going fishing, feeding the birds and watching wildlife. Gary honorably served in the U.S. Army-Airborne.
