Emma “Ruth” Patterson Courts, Beloved and faithful wife of The Rev. Glenn L Courts for 70 years. Devoted mother of Jennie (Dale) Pepoon and Joni (John) Berry. Cherished grandmother of Joshua Pepoon and Joel Berry. Dear sister-in-law of Wayne Brown. Also survived by several nieces and nephews (and their families). Preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Myrtle Patterson; her siblings Amos Patterson, David Patterson and Carol Brown; and her sister-in-law Eunice Courts. Ruth served faithfully as a pastor’s wife throughout her husband’s career within The Kentucky United Methodist Conference. She earned her Master’s in Education and found delight in her career as an elementary educator, with a deep love and concern for all the children she served. She attended the Sharonville United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14th from 11:30 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
