Emma was born in Stearns, Kentucky to Beulah Christine (nee Hamlin) and Killes Foster on February 20, 1936, She is the beloved mother of Russell (Donna) Hall, Pam (the late Rick) Straughn, Becky (Dave) Foster and Deb (the late Tony) Jones; cherished grandmother of Ashley (Darrin) Hays, Amanda (Jason) Hall, Joshua Straughn, Jeremy Straughn, Chelsea Straugh, Eric (Lauren) Foster, Samantha (Jason) Angilecchia, Jesse (Jennifer) Jones and Sam Jones; and treasured great grandmother of Zoe, Kyle, Dallas, Ellie, Phillip, Ethan, Kamren, Gracie, Ophelia, Carter and Abby. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Herman L. Hall; brothers Marshall Foster and James Robert Foster; sister Margaret Foster King; and parents Beulah and Killes.
Emma enjoyed - and was quite good at - jigsaw puzzles. She also liked light shopping with her family at Ollie's and Big Lots. More than anything, Emma wanted to spend time with her family and spoil her grandkids and great grandkids as much as she could. She was a bright and shining light in the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
A visitation for Emma will be held at Freedom Church in Sharonville (3755 Cornell Rd.) at 12 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024 followed by a service at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Emma's name to Hospice of Cincinnati.
