Elizabeth (Betsi) Mary Connett Walton, 71, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on November 12, 2024 with family by her side. Betsi was born on October 20, 1953 to the late George and Loraine (nee Hickey) Connett.
Betsi was the best mom, wife, sister, grandma, aunt, friend, anyone could ask for. Family and God were her top priorities. Betsi always cherished being with family. Family dinners, hosting holidays and just hanging out with family were her favorite times. Betsi loved the beach and being on trips with her many friends. Most importantly of all, Betsi had a very close relationship with God. Spending time with God everyday was always most important to her. She loved God and always put him first. Betsi was a registered nurse and spent her career caring for others working at Hoxworth Blood Center, Kenwood Pediatrics and Good Samaritan Hospital.
Betsi is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Michael (Mike) Walton and her children Christopher (Shannon), Kelly (Jim) Knapmeyer and Lauren (Chris) Cline.
