Edward Paul Hackett

Ed was the beloved husband of Patsy (nee Higgins) Hackett for 37 years; devoted father of Emily (Jared) Perry, Annah Hackett, Tess (Scott) Inman and his pup Gus.  cherished brother of Linda Hamilton, Dennis (Karen) Hackett, Tim (Pam) Hackett; Mary (Scott) Lipps, Nancy Hackett, John Hackett, Chris Hackett, Dan (Kathy) Hackett, Barry (Paige) Hackett and Lisa (Jim) Fetick; preceded in death by his loving parents Elaine (nee Moore) and Edward Paul Hackett. 

The Hackett family was a founding family with St. Bartholomew Church in Finneytown with Ed part of the second graduating class. He later attended St. Xavier High School and Xavier University. He remained an active alumnus of St. X and Xavier and also stayed connected to St. Bart’s, coaching sports throughout the years his daughters attended school there. 

Visitation for Ed will be held Saturday, January 8, 2022, at St. Bartholomew Church 9375 Winton Rd. in Finneytown from 10 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.vIn lieu of flowers, Ed’s family would appreciate donations in Ed’s name to the Xavier University Annual Fund.
