Dovie Ann Sams Smith

Dovie Ann Lee was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Thelma (nee Bunger) and Ralph Lee on February 17, 1944. She's the beloved wife of the late Gary Sams and James Smith; devoted mother of Rhonda Rae (Scott) Bradley of Waverly, Iowa and Gary Dwayne Sams of Reily, Ohio; cherished grandmother of Jeff (Skyler) Bradley, Krystle (Tim) Calkins, Payden (My) Bradley and great grandmother of Preston, Korbin, Kennick, Lia, Sorren, William, Artemis and Meadow; dear sister the late Walter (known as Pete), Leah, Theresa, Jackie and Pamela. 

Dovie retired from Miami University after serving for many years there as a cook. She loved animals and flowers, and in her spare time liked to crochet. More than anything, Dovie loved her family and spending time with them. She will be deeply missed.
