David Carmack

Roy David Carmack, age 69 of Hamilton passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio but lived in Oxford for the first part of his life and in Hamilton until his death. His parents were James and Martha (Moore) Carmack.

On August 8, 1991, he married Beverly Ann (Bowman). He loved to work and was a professional machine operator in excavating. He worked for several different companies and even had his own for a while but in the end, he worked for S&S Construction and loved working for them.

Roy is survived by his wife, Beverly Ann Carmack, his daughters, Stephanie Ann Carmack and Stacey (Wayne) Prater, his son, Steven (Amy) Gay, his grandchildren, Anthony, Lauren, Christopher, Payton, Wesley, his sister, Roxanna Grimes and a host of nieces, nephews and family. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Paul Carmack and Billy Carmack and his wife Shirley Carmack.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Ogle and Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, OH 45056 from 4 PM to 6 PM. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Fort Hamilton Hospital and the Dry Dock Saloon for their very special love. He will be missed.
