Dan Daulton. Beloved husband of the late Diana Daulton. Dan and Diana’s love story began when they met in the Lancers Glee Club at Courter Tech High School. Their shared love of music brought them together, and they were married in 1971. Devoted father of Brandi (Brad) Krumme. Cherished grandfather of Brian Miller and Rayna Krumme. Loving brother of Rich (Victoria) Daulton. Also survived by nieces Joanna (Steve) Shelton and Sheryl Daulton, and by his faithful companion, Katie the dog.
Dan passed away on November 19, 2025 at the age of 75. A printing press operator for King’s Island and later the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Dan took pride in his work and the people he met along the way.
Dan was known by everyone who loved him as a truly generous and giving person. If he saw someone struggling or in need—family, friend, or even a casual acquaintance—he was the first to step in and offer help. His kindness was quiet, consistent, and sincere, and he lived out his faith through the way he cared for others.
A longtime member of Lifespring Christian Church, Dan lived a life full of creativity, curiosity, and connection. He had many passions—woodworking, music, and especially motorcycles. Dan and Diana were longtime members of the Goldwing Motorcycle Club, where they made lifelong friends and spent countless weekends riding together.
Music remained one of Dan’s greatest joys throughout his life. From singing in the Lancers Glee Club, to being a radio DJ, to raising his voice in the church choir, music was woven into who he was. He especially loved performing as Good King Wenceslas in the Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival, a tradition he treasured for many years.
Visitiation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6th from 10:30 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 AM at Lifespring Christian Church, 1373 W. Galbraith Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231. A fellowship of family and friends will follow the service at the church.
Online condolences can be made at www.paulyoungfuneralhome.com. Paul R. Young Funeral Home (Mt. Healthy) entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
