Corrie Lynne Jaynes Collins

Corrie Lynne Jaynes Collins, age 37, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, and fur babies, after a courageous battle with colorectal cancer. Corrie was not only a loving and devoted mother, wife, daughter, aunt, and granddaughter, but her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Born on July 20, 1987, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Kevin and Ruth (Ratzlaff) Jaynes, Corrie found her greatest joy in being a mother to her cherished son, Clark. Her laughter had the incredible ability to light up any room and bring comfort to those around her. An accomplished individual, she graduated from Fairfield High School in 2005 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). As a Critical Care Nurse at UC West Chester Campus for five years, Corrie dedicated herself to caring for patients, consistently showing compassion and expertise. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 6 years, Jeremy Collins; beloved son, Clark Collins; mother, Ruth Jaynes; father, Kevin Jaynes; sisters: Caitlin (Nick) Pelzer, Lindsey (Jeremy) Wright, and Alexis (John) Gibson. Corrie also treasured her nieces and nephews: McKinley Murray, Leighton Gibson, Blake Pelzer, Piper Pelzer, Tatum Wright, and Maverick Wright. Corrie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Billie and Doris Jaynes; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Marilyn Ratzlaff and her uncle, Stephen Jaynes. We will always remember her vibrant spirit and the profound impact she had on all our lives.
