With heavy hearts and profound admiration, we announce the peaceful passing of Christopher Brandon Adams, aged 45. Christopher left this world on March 16, 2026, at his beloved home in Silverton, Ohio, after an inspiring battle with pancreatic cancer. His courageous spirit granted him time beyond his prognosis, a testament to Christopher's indomitable will and zest for life.
He was born on December 24, 1980, in Oxford, Ohio. From a young age, Christopher exhibited the warmth and kindness that would define his existence. His deep love of nature and animals was clear very early on.
Christopher's educational journey led him to Miami University, where he graduated in 2002. He was constantly learning more about his passions like history, cooking and horticulture.
A lover of the outdoors, Christopher found solace and joy in nature. His hobbies included camping, hiking, kayaking, gardening and exploring the wilderness searching for Native American artifacts. These passions were more than just pastimes; they were expressions of his awe for the world and his desire to protect its beauty.
Christopher's personal life was enriched by the love and companionship of his husband and partner of 19 years, TJ Devaney. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and the pitter-patter of paws from their beloved fur babies.
Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Bob Adams and Jan Adams, along with his maternal grandparents Roy and Vesta Elliott.
Christopher is survived by his devoted husband TJ Devaney, father Robert Adams, brothers Robby Adams (Erin Link) and Jason Adams, nephews Taylor Adams (Melissa), Garrett (Ariel) Adams, and soon to be born, great nephew Rusty Scott, Wyatt Adams and niece Sydney Adams, and a very large extended family and countless friends.
A visitation will take place at Paul R Young Funeral Home, located at 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, Ohio 45056 on March 28, 2026 from 11:00am-12:00pm with a Celebration of Life service to honor Christopher's life to follow at 12:00pm.
