Memory of Charles Pawlaczyk 

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our father, who left us unexpectedly on Friday ,March 20th 2026 .Dad spent his life working hard, loving deeply, and giving more than he ever kept for himself. A proud coal miner for so many years, he carried the grit, strength, and loyalty of that life in everything he did. He was the kind of man who would give you his last dime without hesitation, and somehow still make you laugh while doing it. His jokes, his stories, and his easy smile were gifts he shared freely with everyone around him.

What makes this loss even heavier is that it comes only months after we said goodbye to our mother, Beverly Pawlaczyk. Losing both of our parents so close together has left us their children, Amanda Muhlberg and Joe Pawlaczyk navigating a grief that feels unreal. They were our foundation, our steady place in this world, and now we are learning to stand in the space they once filled.

Together, they leave behind two children who adored them and five grandchildren who were the absolute light of their lives. Mom and Dad loved those kids with a tenderness that could be felt in every hug, every smile, every moment they spent together.

Even in our heartbreak, we are grateful , grateful for the love they gave us, the lessons they taught us, and the memories that will carry us forward. Their legacy lives on in the family they built, the values they instilled, and the love they poured into all of us.

We will be sharing more information soon regarding services and a Circle of Life gathering to honor both of their lives and celebrate the beautiful legacy they leave behind.
