Carolyn S. Doloresco (nee Stortz) died peacefully in her sleep in the arms of her daughter on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the age of 86. A devout Christian, she died in faith, and is now enjoying eternal bliss in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Jerry; her sisters Margaret, Shirley, Ella Mae, Ginny and Helen; and her parents Edwin and Jesse Stortz.
Carolyn leaves behind her beloved family: her brother Edwin (Diane) Stortz; her daughter Jennifer Sinclair (Barry) Curtis; her son Bryan (Amy); her grandchildren Jennette (Andy) McManus, Derek (Lily) Curtis, Katie (Drew) Ahern, Jessie (David) Curran and Rachel (Jacob) Englert; and her great-grandchildren Fulton and Sinclair McManus; Logan, Finn and Mack Ahern; and Alanna and Gianna Curran.
Carolyn also leaves behind her beloved church family at Valley Chapel Community Church and her many cherished friends, both young and old.
Carolyn will be remembered for her caring love for her family, friends and others, her cheerful and pleasant personality, her great sense of humor, her love of music, her love for her church family, and her love of Scripture and hymns.
Funeral arrangements include a Christian worship service at Valley Chapel Community Church, 6369 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, OH 45014 on Monday June 30, 2025 at 11:00 am, immediately preceded by a Visitation at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Both family and friends are welcome to attend these arrangements.
A private gravesite ceremony will be held at another time at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
