Carleen S. Esslinger was born on January 8, 1934 in Winchester, KY to parents, William Carl & Reba Benson Todd Schneider. Carleen passed away on June 15, 2025 in Cincinnati, OH at the age of 91 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late James D. Esslinger for 40 years; devoted mother of W. Stephen (Annette) Esslinger, the late J. Curtis Esslinger, Mary (Brian) Barkocy, & B. Todd (Glenda) Esslinger; and cherished grandmother of Martha, Peter, Carly, Hannah, Mallory, Ian, & Vision. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the New Life Christian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, and an avid bridge player, belonging to many bridge groups. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and remained a devoted fan throughout her life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st from 10 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231.
