Bruce L. Mahaney was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Helen and Robert Mahaney on June 18, 1957. He is the beloved father of Craig (Tiffany) Mahaney and Cara (Andy) Burlison; dear brother of William (Sandra) Mahaney, Bobbie (Mark Kuntz) Mahaney, Sue (Dan) Fragoules and the late Helen B. Mahaney; and adoring grandfather of Tanner Mahaney, Declan Wiltshire, Finley Mahaney, Brayden Burlison and Jacob Burlison.
Bruce enjoyed life and precious time spent with friends and family. He always saw the bright side and was always good for a laugh. He was a devoted and fun papaw who loved to play Yahtzee, Trouble and card games with his grandkids. His passion for race cars ran deep with the NHRA and drag racing circuit; he even helped paint two Indy 500 race cars at one point. His other passion was right in his own backyard where he took great pride in his bountiful vegetable and flower garden. Bruce also enjoyed cooking, golfing with Craig, and supporting his UC Bearcats in every way. He lived his life with joy and love for his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed.
A memorial visitation for Bruce will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Paul R. Young Funeral Home in Mt. Healthy from 6 pm to 8 pm. He loved flowers, but his family would also be honored if you made a donation to Hamilton County Park District in memory of Bruce as a tribute to his love for golf.
