Brenda Kay King Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of a beautiful, fiesty, fiercely independent, kind, and caring woman. Brenda Kay King passed away last night at 8:30 due to the effects of a massive stroke she suffered on Friday. She was a mom, mother-in-law, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother, as well as a friend to many (including the four-legged and feathered variety).

She leaves behind two loving sons Scott (Sarah) Persinger and Dan Persinger, her brother Fred (Margaret) King, grandchildren Danielle (Zach) Baxter, Cody Persinger (fiancee Courtney), Curran Persinger (Hannah), Seth Persinger, and beautiful great granddaughter Adeline Baxter. She is survived also by her beloved Ginny (rescue pup) and Tess (cat) and any number of birds out in the back yard that surely know her by sight as she fed them without fail in any weather and loved to watch them peck at the seeds and suet.

Do not mourn her passing, she would not want that, but instead, please carry on her memory by doing the things she loved to do! Trail ride at Nation Road Stable, work out at Anytime Fitness, support no-kill animal shelters, plant flowers, do some cooking, read books, and in general, stay active in both mind and body.

We asked that you celebrate her life and give her family some time to setup arrangements. There will be a private service for immediate family.
