Beverly Persinger

Beverly Persinger, age 72, passed away peacefully in the late morning of January 16, 2026, at Woodland Country Manor Nursing Home. Born on July 22, 1953, in Hamilton, Ohio, Beverly was the beloved daughter of Gerry (Winkler) and the late Richard Muenchenbach.

Beverly lived life with an open heart and a joyful spirit. She found her greatest happiness outdoors, whether playing softball, admiring horses, or spending time with her beloved golden retrievers. Known for her warm, outgoing nature, Beverly had a special gift for making others feel welcome. She treasured time spent withher family and friends and created lasting memories through laughter,  kindness, and connection. After 30 years of dedicated service, Beverly retired from Miami University, where she proudly served as Director of Purchasing.

She is survived by her mother, Gerry Muenchenbach, sister, Janet (Scott) Blakley; niece, Heather (Wes) Cole; nephew, Matt (Sarah) Lowitz; great-nephew, Brody Cole; and step-son, Scott (Sarah) Persinger.

Beverly was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Richard Persinger; father, Richard Muenchenbach; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Pearl Winkler; and paternal grandparents, Alvin and Ruth Muenchenbach.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance during a visitation at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, Ohio 45056, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jeremy Pruett will officiate the service. Burial will take place at College Corner Cemetery.
