Bette Koch (nee Milner) 80, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away January 23, 2025 at Hospice of Hamilton with family at her side. She was born on April 1,1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Robert A. Milner and Olan Horn.
Bette graduated from Central High School in 1962 and married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Koch in 1965. She was a homemaker while her children were young and later worked in the cafeteria at Rex Ralph Elementary in Mt. Healthy, Ohio and as an appointment coordinator for Group Health Associates. Bette enjoyed spending time with friends and family, camping, and relaxing at the beach or in her own back yard.
She is survived by her children, Scott (Amy Banks) Koch, Kristie (Mike) Rolfsen, grandchildren; Jesse (Ciara) Koch, Justin Koch, Mikayla Koch, Cohen Rolfsen, Max Rolfsen. Also survived by siblings David Milner, Carol (James Morgan) Brooks, Billie Beuter, special cousin, Basil (Linda) Wilkirson and her close friends, lovingly known as the “Brown County Girls.”
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Koch; son, Bobby Koch, sister, Pam Hollander, and brother, Johnny Horn.
The family will receive friends at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231 on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vivian Catholic Church, 7600 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244, on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
