Beatrice "Bea" Wroot

Hamilton - Beatrice "Bea" Wroot, 90, was born on October 6, 1935 to parents, Ivan & Bessie Spence in Sturgeon, KY. "Bea" passed away on April 27, 2026 at her residence in Hamilton, OH. She is the beloved wife of the late James Wroot. They were married on February 18, 1977 in Hamilton, OH. Devoted mother of Michael Wayne (Amy) Smith, Melissa Ann (Danny) Price, and the late Jimmy (Suzy) Wroot. Cherished grandmother of Jacob Michael Smith, Nicole Jackson, Sarah Graham, and Codi Cunningham. Also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, the late John Spence. Bea went to school in Kentucky, graduating in 1954 from Owsley County High School. She worked at Ohio Casualty Insurance in quality control for 28 years before retiring in 1993. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 30th at 12 Noon at St. Mary's Cemetery, 4030 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton, OH 45015. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati (Hamilton, OH facilty) or to the Animal Friends Humane Society.
