Barbara A. Connell

Barbara Ann was born on February 10, 1948 to Alta (nee Bates) and Robert Bedinghaus in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the beloved mother of Kimberly (Michael) Evers, Anna (Brian) Campbell and Gretchen (Rick Roth) Staab; cherished sister of Susan (Robert) Staab and Christina Stalbaum; loving grandmother of Kyle Fricke, Ryan (Emily Klumb) Fricke, Devon Campbell, Morgan Campbell, Kaitlyn Evers and Zane Evers; and dear aunt of Daria (Chris) Condit, Brian (Shelly) Staab, Kevin (Ann) Staab, Emily Kolacz, Lauren Stalbaum, as well as great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Barb was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Daniel Connell. 

Barb was a longtime member of the Carthage Senior Center where she served as former President. She had a long career as a paramedic, EMT, firefighter and pharmacy tech. Before she retired for good, she was loving her final career as a florist. She will be deeply missed by all those she worked with, family and friends. 

Visitation for Barb will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, 9-11 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at the Church of the Assumption in Mt. Healthy. Donations in Barb's name may be made to the Carthage Senior Center.
