Arthur Raymond Lynch

Arthur Raymond Lynch, 79, passed unexpectedly at his home in Cincinnati, Ohio on Monday, July 29, 2024. Born on December 27, 1944, Art was a cherished son to James Elmer Lynch Sr. and Minnie Jane (Proctor) Lynch. Known for his charismatic personality and larger-than-life demeanor, Art was loved by everyone he met. 

Art is survived by his loving children Gregory “Burn” (Kelly) Coldewey, Kathleen (Tom Jr.) Estes, Laura (Kerry) Hubbs and Daniel (Martina) Lynch, his grandchildren Camella (Christina) Engstrom, Kara Hubbs, Troy (Teal) Estes, Cassidy “Blue” Coldewey, Emma (Dylan Burton) Estes, DJ (Kyndall Trickett) Lynch, Taylor Estes, Nolan Lynch, Jameson Hubbs and Connie Sullivan, his great-grandchildren Theodore Burton and Graham Estes, and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Art is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Mary “Sue” (Donnelly) Lynch, his parents, James Elmer Lynch Sr. and Minnie Jane (Proctor) Lynch, his brothers Elmer (Myra) Lynch and Robert Lynch, his sister Lillian (Gene) Moore, and his son Paul (Melanie) Coldewey. 

As a Gunner’s Mate Petty Officer 3rd Class (GMG3), Art was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1971. Taking great pride in his service to his country and his neighborhood, Art was always the first to offer a helping hand to everyone around him. Retired from UPS in 2010, Art spent his retirement vacationing in Florida and cruising BB Riverboats with his wife Sue, visiting with his large family, and indulging in his passion for watching movies.

Art will be greatly missed by family and friends, and his memory will live on in all our hearts.

A memorial visitation will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mount Healthy, Ohio 45231 on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 4 PM - 6 PM. A memorial service will follow at 6 PM.
