Albert was born in Hamilton, Ohio to Rosalene (nee Cappel) and Albert P. Williamson, Sr. on March 5, 1947. He is the beloved father of Sabrina Ault and Joseph Williamson; cherished brother of Irene Carpenter, Brenda (Mike) Barnett, David Williamson, Daniel Williamson, Sr., Eddie Williamson, Ray Lynn Williamson and Missy Williamson; he’s also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews. Albert was preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Stout, his brother James “Frog” Williamson, and his parents.
Albert proudly served as a Marine in the United States Military. He was the recipient of two Purple Heart Awards (one with cluster), the National Defense Service Metal, the Vietnam Service Metal, and the Rifle Sharpshooter Badge. He was known for his generosity and willingness to help anyone in need - he never knew a stranger. He loved people, he lived life to its fullest, and he was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. But more than anything, he loved his family and especially his two children. He was a son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and an American Hero. Albert will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
