Alan Sepsi

Alan Sepsi, 83, of Oxford, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2025. He was born March 15, 1942, in Brownsville, PA to Andrew and Margaret (Bartoletti) Sepsi. 

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Hallie; son, Alan, Jr.; daughter, Elizabeth (Luke) Busler and their two children Annabel and Penelope; Alan’s brother Andrew Sepsi & his son Tim (Jennifer) Sepsi; and Alan’s sister Mary Ann Sepsi & her son Drew (Jody) Harbaugh.

Alan was a standout athlete in high school and college, and was heavily recruited by several professional football teams. He chose instead to make a career of teaching and coaching, happy to encourage his students and athletes to do well.

If you asked him to name his favorite things, he would very likely have said golf, football, and any time he was able to spend with his granddaughters.

Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to celebrate (or roast!) Alan at the Oxford Country Club, 6200 Contreras Rd., Oxford OH, on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
