Susan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Claire (nee Kammer) and Arthur Wissel on January 16, 1935. She is the beloved wife of the late John Schneider, Jr.; devoted mother of Steven Schneider, William (Sandra) Schneider, Richard (Tami) Schneider, David Schneider, Jennifer Joan Schneider and the late Joe Schneider; cherished grandmother of Kristen (Craig) Berry, Austin Schneider, Garrett (Catie) Schneider, Jared Urban, Clayton Schneider, Trevor Schneider, Christopher (Josh) Schneider, Nicholas (Izzy) Schneider and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Joe, and her siblings Tom, Ray, Jim and Janet Wissel.

A visitation for Susan will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 9 am until time of funeral service at 10 am. Donations in Susan's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
